For Student
The Eyekind Charity Foundation is committed to help aspiring students who are pursuing a degree in ophtgalmology in the US. Selected students will receive $2,000 USD for the 2021-2022 school year. The Eyekind Charity Foundation will be awarded based on each candidate's academic performance, commitment to give back to the community, and demonstrated leadership quality.
WHO CAN APPLY?
To be eligible to apply, applicants must:
- Have a 3.5 GPA or above
- Must be a fourth-year student, enrolled in a higher institution
- Must pursue a degree in th eophtalmology field
- Must be a California resident
- Demonstrate financial needs
- Demonstrate commitment to give back to the community
APPLICATION PROCESS
Please provide the following:
- Resume / CV
- General backgroun information (Full Name, Home Address, Phone Number, Email Address, Name of Educational Institution, Anticipated Graduation Date)
- 750-1,000-word essay about your background
- Academic transcripts from your current and prior institution (if any)
- A list of relevant honors and/or awards
- 1,000-1,500-word essay explaining why you need this scholarship and your future plans post-college
- 2-3 Letters of Recommendation
